Happy Fall!

• My latest album, Alternate Route, is now available for pre-order (CD, vinyl, and digital) at the Whirlwind Recordings Bandcamp page and all major platforms. The album features Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jaleel Shaw, Alexander Claffy, and George Colligan.
• In support of this recording, I am in the midst of doing some live shows. I previewed the music at the 1st Annual 1905 Jazz Festival with Nicole McCabe and at Chez Hanny in San Francisco. Soon we will perform at the Seattle Jazz Fellowship, Christo’s and the Jazz Station. And on November 26, we will do a CD release party at Los Angeles club Sam First (livestreamed).
• Bossa PDX will perform the music of Moacir Santos on November 20; I’m really looking forward to playing the music of this most fascinating Brazilian composer.
